Volunteers

There are not words enough to describe the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival’s deep appreciation and positive dependence on the Festival volunteers. Every success in the history or future of the Festival derives its heart and hand-work from the core of individuals who sustain and nurture this year-round classical music presence.

Board of Trustees

Serving renewable three-year terms, the OICMF Board of twelve meets every other month and are responsible for policy, planning, and overseeing the work of the Executive Director. Each member also takes on special tasks during the Festival year including Executive Committee and officer roles, event planning and hosting, financial oversight, personnel, communications, and keeping in touch with our amazing donors.

Seasonal Staff

Festival week operations, house management, volunteer recruitment and coordination, host home coordination, ticket sales, office assistance, archives and library records, IM: In Music aides, Festival docents, to name a few, are examples of the varied tasks accomplished by Festival volunteers. Interested? Just give Executive Director, Victoria Parker, a call to visit about possibilities.
