The magic of chamber music comes to life for children and their families in the Festival's interactive, fun, and educational Family Concerts.These presentations are designed to engage young people in musical experiences that leave them with a new curiosity and knowledge about the world of music.

Originally started as a concert presented during the school day for Orcas students in 1998, in 2002 OICMF re-structured this concert as a Matinee Family Concert so that children and their parents can explore chamber music together.
