Guest violinist, Monique Mead, will work with our public school music classes with focus on strings
March 26
Master Class
Monique Mead, violinist and frequent Festival ensemble artist, will offer a Master Class for adult musicians in the community with topic focus on "How to Make Practice Count: Suggestions for Progress" and "Musical Connections: Performer and Audience." 
April 12 Music Lovers' Seminar with George Shangrow, "Season Sampler: Festival '08"
10AM-2PM. St. Francis Catholic Church, Eastsound. Tutition is $30 (school age children may audit free). Homemade cookies, coffee/tea provided. Bring box lunch or go out on the town at noon. Call the Festival Office to register.
April 23 Ticket Purchase Benefit opens for Prelude - Encore Circle Donors ($500+)
Ticket order packets will be mailed to 2008 Prelude – Encore Circle Donors by April 23 or call the Festival Office at 360-376-6636. All Prelude – Encore Circle Donors ticket purchases are handled by the Festival Office until June 18.
June 7 Spring Thank-You Concert for Sonata - Encore Circle Donors ($750+)
Through their generous contributions, donors help to keep our Festival ticket prices reasonable. This invitational concert acknowledges these special gifts.
June 18 Early Bird Event to announce general ticket sales opening
From this date through the Festival, all Festival tickets are purchased through the Orcas Center Box Office at 360-376-2281. Orcas Center Box Office Hours are 12-4 Thursday-Saturday. Additional Box Office hours will be announced during the Festival weeks.
